Chikni Chameli - Katrina's Another Hot Item Song in Agneepath

After creating a stir with her hot item numbers Sheila Ki Jawani andBodyguard, Katrina Kaif is all set for another sizzling performance. This time she will be seen as Chikni Chameli in Karan Johar's Agneepath.
Karan Johar lately tweeted, "Katrina Kaif is doing a full on item song in Agneepath....its a total swinging number called Chikni Chameli....we shoot it in a week!!" Katrina is definitely a great choice for the item number. The much awaited Agneepath will grab more eyeballs with the item song.
Item numbers have become the hottest trend in Bollywood. Even the best crop of Bollywood actresses doesn't mind doing item numbers now. From Aishwarya Rai's Kajra Re, Malaika Arora's Munni to Mallika Sherawat's Mayya Mayya and Jalebi Babi, all these songs became extremely popular with the masses. Katrina's Sheila Ki Jawani was the only good thing about Tees Maar Khan, which sank without a trace. Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu have also done item numbers in past With direct competition from Bollywood actresses, poor item girls like Rakhi Sawant and Yana Gupta are finding it hard to sustain in the business.
Katrina Kaif was last seen in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Her Do Dhari Talwar number from the film didn’t do that well. Let's hope Chikni Chameli works for Kjo, Katrina andAgneepath. Meanwhile, another trailer of Agneepath is expected to be out soon. So stay tuned.
